Israel says it’s not bound by International Law

Net-a-Yahoo is upset.

JERUSALEM, Dec 31 (Reuters) – Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Saturday said a United Nations General Assembly vote asking the International Court of Justice (ICJ) to provide an opinion on Israel’s occupation of the Palestinian territories was “despicable.””The Jewish people are not occupiers on their own land nor occupiers in our eternal capital Jerusalem and no U.N. resolution can warp that historical truth,” he said in a video message.

And he was upset before too when the International Court of Justice started to look into the Gaza Genocide that is ongoing:

Monday’s case is separate from the proceedings held in January over an accusation from South Africa that Israel was committing genocide in its war against Hamas following the October 7 attacks.

That case saw an overwhelming majority of the court order Israel to prevent genocideagainst Palestinians in Gaza, while stopping short of calling for Israel to suspend its military campaign, as South Africa had requested. At the time, Israel had already indicated it would not accept the ICJ’s ruling, with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s office writing on X that “nobody will stop us – not The Hague, not the axis of evil and not anybody else.”

Well… if Israel is not bound by Interantional Law, one wonders if it also means any actions taken against Israel for its war crimes are legitimate too. I mean, if you have a criminal running around killing people, even private citizens are allowed to blast them dead in order to stop them, right?

Certainly in places like the USA and South Africa. And International Law between countries is always quite a bit more “frontier style” than say your average coffee shop in London or Oslo.

So one wonders if all the Arab countries that are watching Israel now also attacking Lebanon indiscriminately suddenly decide to get together and curb stomp the region’s bully, if there would even be any consequences.

Oh, I mean, the USA, being controlled as it is by Benji’s cousins would have an apoplectic fits, but short of Biden soiling himself just one more time, I am not sure they are in a position to do absolutely anything about it, despite having several aircraft carriers worth of transexuals, lesbians, gay, and very woke “soldiers” with excellence in piloting planes into the sea or losing them, or crashing their destroyers into shipping tankers and so on.

The Hague got burned down last week. Now we know who was really behind that.
