I have written on this blog quite extensively on how to prepare for an eventual economic collapse, so use the search me function, but in TL;DR format:

1. Go as rural as you can
2. Own your own land as best you can
3. Stock up on essentials that will last years:
   1. food
   2. clean water source
   3. defence
   4. self-sustainability in all of the above
   5. off-grid power

4. pick the best geographic location you can with the closest community to your own religion/deeply held belief system you can find.

5. Try to have your own stock of things like silver/gold/fuel, but also…plenty of ammo. If you can, have an emergency option 2 get away too.
