On the 22nd of June 2010 I fully ruptured my right Achilles Tendon and had to have surgery in order to re-attach it. As a Sports Hypnotist, it would be remiss of me not to document my recovery process. As a result I have added a page specifically to document this under the Hypnosis Experiments section.
This will be a relatively detailed Recovery Diary, which will outline the steps I have taken so far and continue to document future results. If you have suffered from a similar injury and want to see what I am doing to recover faster and better than I have been told is usually possible, feel free to bookmark the page and return to it often as I will make frequent updates.
Most interestingly, I plan to detail my expectations and experiments as I progress in real time. This will allow any sceptics to ensure that they are able to verify for themselves whether I am successful in my expectations and final results.
If you or someone you know has suffered this type of injury, you have my sympathy. A strong mind and patience are essential to retaining a positive attitude when faced with such a debilitating injury. Especially if you are normally used to being very active. Nonetheless, I hope to be living proof that a healthy dose of humour, positive attitude and excellent recovery are all eminently possible. All thanks to a little hypnosis and a few other tricks I have learnt along the way. And if you choose to believe I have learnt such things from a mystic sect of secretive monks trained in the psychic and martial skills of the lost art of Dim-Mak, and led by a man only known as Ra’s al Ghul, then far be it from me to dissuade you!
