And in any case I am Venetian, not Italian, so MY country has been occupied since 12 May 1797 by that little pervert Napoleon. We’re used to resisting tyrants and we will always do so.
In this short segment from TV, the female journalist and the other scumbag are basically doing a “show” that has the sole purpose of “worrying” everyone about the “impending war of conquest” that according to these lying and demonically infested creatures, is looming over a near horizon. Due to the new Hitler: Putin.
The point being to try and “galvanise” the country into the “unfortunate but needed war” against Russia.
Marco Rizzo blows them all away when he first tried to say the polite equivalent of “stop talking shit and lying” and they rejected that asking:

Oh, and if we’re all wrong and Putin will conquer Italy, I’d personally be grateful if he would liberate the Veneto and make me Doge. I’ll happily operate the Serenissima as a protectorate of Russia.
